Re: pikeRedmond is hard to fish this time of year because the pike are a bit tired and slugish. The spillway below the dam is fishable from all the reserch I've done. They have it posted and you have to walk down the damn. They can't post the river down there because its public water. Alot of trash has showed up on the nearby landowners property, so keep it clean if u fish it. That's why they put up the signs. Hope any of this helps! FISH ON!

+1 There are signs all over. You could take a small boat up the river and fish it. That would be the only way. I have always wondered about recapture. Never fished it though. Let us know if you go. I caught my first pike at redmond last febuary. They will take minnows under bobbers this time of year. Fish at anyone of the pull outs along the North end of the lake. "Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it"
