I watched part of their game the other night that they came back and won on a walk off. Kept looking for any of their other games, but never found another one.
It was on at 3-5 today.

I was going to post
post that it was on but I figured that most of you were working with no access to a TV

I was a little nervous when the shortstop bobbled the ball and the bases were loaded. But hey, they got it done.

First time a Utah team has made it to Williamsport. Those kids are going to be on a high like none they've had. :D:D

There were some tense moments the last couple of innings but that's what makes it interesting.

I looked but didn't see when they play next.

If anyone gets wind of when they are playing, please throw it out there. I watch quite a bit of the LL world series most years. Fun games to watch.
I miss the grandkids playing. I had one grandson who was on an All Star team that got to play in a tournament at Cooperstown. Crazy fun.
Now I have to wait for the great grandkids...... 😁

The next game for Utah will be on August 19 at 1 pm Mountain time. They will play the winner of the game between the Southeast and New England game

Here is a link to where you can download the bracket

Sounds like one of those kids had a freak accident off the field that sounds fairly serious. His father Jace was a classmate of mine at Cedar High. Hopefully things turn out okay.

It simply amazes me that Utah doesn't have more communities that participate in Little League. Iron County and Washington county are it. Most other areas all participate in other leagues, or just go the "travel ball" route 100%. It's too bad -- Little League does a great job. Our experience making it to the LLSBWS in 2017 was truly amazing! Our extra inning win (1-0 vs. Washington [state]) in the Western Region Championship game (walk-off single in bottom of 9) was the BEST sporting event I've ever watched.

While this is the first time a boys team has made it this far, we've had 3 girls teams get this far. 1 girls team (Santa Clara) won the Junior world series division in 2018.

Good luck to the boys team this year. I hope they represent well. Regardless of the outcome, the experience this team is having right now is one to remember.

Yea, they started out bad and never recovered. Could be a big case of nerves and playing a lot better team that were there last year.

Just looked and it looks like Santa Clara will play on Sunday at 11am Eastern 9am local unless they pull this one out of their shorts.
