7 shades of GREEN
Well, I'm supposed to be deer hunting, infact my buddy and I started hiking in friday and 1/4 mile into the hike my buddy couldn't hack it anymore. we still had a ways to go so we (he) opted to hike out and cut his losses. since I was his ride i hiked out with him. Ridiculous is what it was. I thought he was a little tougher than that so, i'll have to make a plan for next weekend.
on the other hand I was able to take those lemons and make lemonade (metaphor). It was one of my slower days (done by 12:20) but, patience payed off. I was swarmed with Teal and it was hard to resist. I had a flock of 50 buzz over the top from behind and sit right in the decoys at my feet!! That was fun to watch!
I'm kinda hoping they stay in the area a little longer. Maybe i'll pull out an all drake teal limit. haven't done that in a while.
