I recently purchased five bags (100 cases per bag) of .204 to reload for vermin extermination. Out of the 500 brass 8 cases had some serious problems. Case necks split, brass metal flaking off the neck and a couple of brass absolutely unworkable bent. I called Winchester and they gave me a shipping tag to print and asked for the 8 brass back for analysis. Once they got the brass they sent me a check for $66.00 to help replace the cases and for the inconvenience. I did call and ask what was causing the brass to flake. The lady said they don't get any reports back from quality control. I guess the good news is the compensation. When buying new brass look at it closely.

Hi Al,

The last bag of W-W brass I've bough was the last bag I'll ever buy. I've since gone with Norma. Yes, Norma costs more, but quality is noticeably superior.

About a year ago I bought 250 Federal Premium .270 Win brass. It is of better quality than W-W.
