Antler Rattling

It does not work. Every deer in the area runs like you shot at them with a bazooka. It gives away your location and scares the deer. I have been trying it on elk and it kind of works with them.

It doesn't help with Labs either, the sound irritates them...

I usually don't give out this kind of information, but right now is the best time to rattle in mulies. I can't go into more information than that, but rattling mulies is tricky business and just hiking to a spot and start whackin horns together probably won't do the trick.

Oops, I've already said too much.....

its all very criptic and special .45, if we tell you we'll have to kill you. no really it is something that takes lots of practice and failures, to discover what does and doesn't work.

I would take a silhouette cut out of a deer and use a grunt call this time of the year.
