I'm a big Nikon fan, but that doesn't stop me from looking at quality. The Weaver T-Series Scopes seem to have a great reputation. But the only people saying it are the ones behind the counter. Makes me think they are just trying to sell. So , if you own one of the Straight 24x or 36 x T-Series Scopes I would love to get some feedback. Or even one of the Weavers in any magnification. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Al.

I have a Weaver 2 X 7 rimfire scope that sits ontop of my Marlin 17 HMR. Good piece of glass, no complaints here. I haven't had the chance to look through any other Weaver optics.

I see no need to replace this scope on this particular gun.

I'll assume it 's the "Grand Slam". I have gotten mixed reviews. This will go on another dedicated P-dog rifle for the 100-400+ ranges. It seems that the older Weavers have a great reputation and the newer ones since Meade took them over can be hit and miss. I am (was) looking at the 24X-T Series. All my guns are topped with the 6-18 or 8.5-25 and they never come off the higher power. Midway USA has that scope for sale at $409.00. It has some great reviews from that site, but I can't quite decide. Thanks for the replies. Soon I will have to decide. Al.

I know a guy who had a 90's era T series and liked it. He was a discriminating quality scope guy so his opinion is good and he was concerned about the lower price being able to deliver. But I haven't heard anything about the new Weavers at all.

I've got a Mini-14 with a 4x scope sitting on top of it. The scope and the rifle have been a pair since my dad bought them about 25 years ago. The glass is pretty clear, even after all these years. I thought it wasn't holding its zero very well, so I took the scope off and shot the rifle without it. Well, it wasn't the scope that was off. Typical Mini-14.
