Where is a place to catch bass in Utah, and is it catch and release everywhere on bass in Utah?

A lot of people are really into Jordanelle. The bass seem to get pretty girthy there.
Just don't go to Deer Creek. Those dinks aren't even worth reeling in. :lol:
As far as limits on bass go, statewide is 6 I think and normally they have regs to immediately release all bass 12 inches and over. Some places differ with their particular regs. Check the proc.
Echo has bass, too.
If you want bass down south, there's Sand Hollow, Quail, and Lake Powell. Special regs there, too.

There are many great bass waters in Utah. I don't know much about the Northern Utah bass waters, but Quail Creek and Sand Hollow are two of the best Largemouth fisheries in the state. Lake Powell is also a great bass fishery for Largies, Smallies, and Stripers.

Most lakes do have some weird regs attatched to them but for good reason. There are bass all over this state! Largemouth and smallmouth can be found in almost every lake except the high-elevation lakes. My most favorite is Utah Lake for the Largemouth fishing.
