Was really slow 6am till mid day. I’ve been doing pretty well the last couple weeks and wasn’t ready to go home empty so I stuck it out and glad I did. Around mid day it picked up and got hot for a few hours. No cats were harmed in the making of this post and all were released. Several small baby eyes were returned to grow up as well but was able to get a limit mostly of 15”-18” fryers with a couple 22”-23” inchers on the chain to top it off. Found a pod of eyes that wanted to play and I was picking multiple eyes every pass

Thanks for the report and pics. You have got to love a day like that.

There is some good eating there. (y)
Thanks This has been a fun and crazy adventure this year from the start figuring it out and to see the phases and changes. I just get em figured out, and things change. Last month was all crank baits for me then that changed. Couple weeks ago they were loving the metallic green blade and green bead full crawler harness and a few in the blue and purple smile blade slow death rigs with a half crawler. Last couple outings not so much. Yesterday was all about the Northland blue/silver shad harness. Every pass over the pod, it was picking one up and the green and purples full harness or slow death rigs they had been liking was now not so much. I would pick one up every now and then on their prior favorites on the passes yesterday but the Northland silver shiner full harness, that was a no fail every pass. Now, what will they like when I go next trip on Tuesday?? 😂
