Does anybody hunt the WMAs with a regular outboard motor? I have a little aluminum boat with a 7.5 hp outboard. I know a mud motor would be better, but how many of you take your regular outboards into the marshes?

Nice, I run a evinrude 9 hp shortshaft on a 12 ft v hull at FB.
Right now the moss is so thick in spots that unless you can get up on plane
pretty quick you will be pulling weed every hundred yards or so.

If ya do get up on plane fast you can get around pretty well
one word of caution be careful of the nest boxes
