Central mountain north manti

Has anyone been down to look at the herd down on the skyline area yet if so how did they look strong herd I hope I am thinking of going down there Labor Day weekend hope to see some nice elk we have three cow elk tag hopefully we can fill those like we have in the past!

Cow Elk

I have a cow tag for north manti as well. Have hunted only in the uintahs and currant creek. I'm not sure where to start scouting, it's a fairly big unit. I'll be there a few times throughout sept, I'll let you know if I find any herds worth following.
