What are conditions like at Clear Lake? Has the drought and low water levels affected it? I used to hunt down there a lot in the early 90,s but have not been down there in several years. I am thinking of trying it again this year.

The water level was good last year!......But so was Willard bay! :roll:

It is spring fed so water levels are more consistent ...I think?

The first three ponds have water but the rest don't usually fill back up until the farmers quit sprinkling.

The water levels have not been good there for the past several years because of the drought. Compared to the years before the drought, it hasn't hunted very well the past years. However, you can still get some good days on the main pond. But still hit and miss. The northern ponds and the west marsh have not had water for quite a few years. Hopefully a wet fall will fill it up.
