I caught a few in about 50' water depth and the crappies were swimming through at about 43'. I was way out in the middle. Did you guys find them in similar depths?

They have a snow white fillet on them. There's million ways to cook them but my favorite is to roll them in beaten eggs, then roll them in a mix of corn meal and ground flaming hot cheetos. I just put some corn meal and handful of cheetos in a food grinder. Flash fry the fillets in just a bit of oil. Of course hushpuppies, fried potatos and an ear of corn on the side!

There is zero bones in the fillets.
