Ok so its not Utah but what the hek should be its close enough and one place that should be thawed soon. If anyone would like to shed some light on the ice conditions up there let me know. I was there last weekend there had been some spots but I am thinking it re-capped due to the weather. People out in the middle still ice fishing scary stuff out there. I am just looking for just enough to drop a jig in. Hopefully will shed some light a wasted trip but ended up with really good barbque shack on the west side of the road... its a cute place and has awesome food. Please heeeelllllpppppp me :lol:

went to daniels and it was open this week the north end anyway. quite a few utah guys up there with toons. first time i have had the toon out in 2 years. i gave it hell and came away with a very muddy car. lots of mud to get there better have a 4wheel drive my subaru proved to me just want it is today after trading in the sports car for a wagon that thing is tough. the fishing even tougher i trolled all over the north end throwing jigs and nothing. awesome though to see the water again and i welcome the new year of awesome fishing. dang it was fun to fish again like a real fisherman just no freaking fish. happy easter all

Fishing was OK last week- very very clear water- all fish hugging the bottom

Fished it last Saturday and did well, no monsters. Average was about 3 lbs, biggest was maybe 5. We had the best luck with a chironomid just off the bottom and a pheasant tail 18 inches above that.
