Deer or elk hides

Wish you had posted this a while ago... i threw out an elk hide a few days ago, deer hide a few weeks before that.

where are you located and how far are you willing to travel?

I am in Lehi, and Depending on the hide, I am pretty motivated, a few miles never killed anybody!

I don't have my deer yet, but do you do hides for a fee? I'd like to have it turned into a sort of a blanket.

I had 2 up for grabs 2 weeks ago and 3 weeks ago. No one took them and one of them was my sons first deer so we took on the tanning process. His is almost done, my is soaking in the pickling solution. I am just over in American Fork. I will keep you in mind for the next animal we get.

I have a hide from last year still in the freezer, do you tan them for a fee?
I'm just around the mountain in Draper

there is one in my freezer also let us know if you need some work

If I knew what I was doing, I would gladly do them for both of you. I am just starting to learn, I have done a couple racoons so far, and want to step up to something bigger. I have a couple hides coming from Cedar City. If I figure out how to do it, I will post up. Then maybe I could show you how I did it. I want to learn to do it without harsh chemicals or brains.

Wished I would have known. We just left 5 cow elk hides down on the mountain this last weekend!!!
