Got lots of green tomatoes left? Try this recipe:!:

3 1/2 lbs. firm small tomatoes (I picked the ones about cherry tomato size)
Remove stem end.
slice in half.
Pack tomatoes into hot quart jars.To each quart add:1 celery stalk,1/4 teaspoon crushed dry red pepper,1 head dill or 2 tbsp. dill seed,2 buttons garlic.

BRINE
2 qt. water
1 qt. cider vinegar
1/2 cup pickling or kosher salt, do not use iodized salt.




Bring mixture to boil. Fill jars to 1/2 inch from top. Adjust lids.
Process in boiling water bath for 5-7 minutes.

Makes about 4 quarts.

Good stuff!!

EDIT:I had some brine left over so I put 6 boiled eggs in and tried them this morning and they were great!!
