Has anybody had any experience with electric socks? I have heard nothing but good about them, but I am a little werry about putting something that has a potential to start a small fire in the bottom of my waders. my feet usaully get cold fast in this weather. it doesnt seem to matter if I use 2 pair of socks or not. thats why I ask.. thanks!

I use a pair of the wader style that I got at Sportsman's they have a long cord and the battery pack hooks on your belt. I usually do not turn them on until my feet start to get cold once I have walked to where I hunt and get set up. The only problem that I have is keeping them from migrating down to the bottom of my waders. I also were a liner sock underneath them. In my opinion they work great this time of year when your sitting in a blind or knee deep water.
