As I drew a big 0 on all my hunts. I'm wondering about the leftovers. There are none that I am interested in but I would like to do the extended Deer. If I can purchase a tag, I can just hit the extended, correct?

Yes, you are correct. Just have to wait until it opens is all. You can also pick up the statewide otc archery elk permit as well.

yeah, planning on the OTC permit for elk, I'd just like to up my chances on the extended. Is the extended deer sex specific or is it hunters choice?

Until a certain date it doesn't matter which sex you take.
