I finally killed a mule deer on the extended, the first animal I’ve ever killed with a bow. Thought you guys might appreciate this picture. I was aiming for the lungs area but must have under-judged the distance. (It was about 35-40 yards line-of-sight, but downhill, I used the 30-pin.) The broadhead passed through and cracked the far knee. It sounded like someone breaking a dry branch off a tree. The deer still managed to run 150 yards downhill before collapsing. It was a really intense experience. I was 3 miles from the car, so I hiked 12 miles total. I shot the deer right before dark, and finally got home at 2am.

I agree @longbow, when I pulled the heart out and saw it I couldn't believe it. "God guided the missile" was all I could think. At least I think I can take credit for my windage (horizontal) aim being on the money.
