Fish Lake

Went yesterday and fished the South end. We started somewhat near the marina and fished on 10 inches of ice. We then trekked over to the East side and the ice was 7 inches thick. No slush and 1-2 inches of snow on most areas with some places being snow free due to wind action. Walking conditions were fine. No slush.

Caution! It should be emphasized that we were on the South end. However, we could see from above that the center of the lake had much thinner ice. This area has just recently capped. Please don't read the report above and assume that the entire lake is good to go for sleds and ATV's. It probably isn't.
