I have room for several people that would like to learn basic fly tying.
This is a one day class for anyone interested in seeing the basics of fly tying.
The class is in Roy, Utah and will be held on Thursday, Oct 25th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
I will have all materials and tools needed. You just need to show up!
Please let me know if you are interested as seating is limited.
For more information, look in the Fly Fishing section here.
Thanks, and I'll see you on Thursday.

If you have ever wondered if you would like to try to tie a fly, this is the time to try it.
We will be very informal and teach only the very basics of tying flies.
I have room for at least 6 more people and I hope that some of you will attend.
I have only 2 or 3 people that say that they can come and I would love to have some more.
If you have the time, please come and say HI, and watch for a while, if you want.
See you tomorrow, Grandpa D.

Sorry, GrandpaD. I'd love to gain some insight, but the timing is wrong for me. Granted, mid week is better than a weekend, but at 5:00, I'm on a forklift and I'd probably make it to Roy (if I got the wife pass) around 7:30.

I appreciate that you are willing to donate your time and knowledge to the fishing community, though. Thanks.

The address is,
2626 W. 5525 S. Roy City Parks and Receration Building.
From the Roy exit stay on 5600 S. going West until you get to 2700 W.
Turn right on 2700 W. and look for 5525 S. turn right there and follow the road [lane]
To the Parks building. It's on the left side of the road and the park is on the right.

Greenguy88, you are very welcome.
You took to tying flies like a dog takes to water.
Let us know when you catch your first fish on one of your flies.
Best of luck,
Grandpa D.

Well I decided to head out to Syracuse pond today and I caught all of my fish on that wooly bugger we tied! For a while there they were slammin it. It was very rewarding being able to catch a fish on something I created, even if it was a planter bow . Grandpa D Im definately "hooked", and I plan on making tying flies a new hobby of mine.
