Friends of Great Salt Lake Fundraiser info

Waterfowlers have partnered with FOGSL many times over the years in our efforts to protect the marshes, and keep public wetland areas open and accessable. They have been instrumental in protecting the Willard Spur, protecting water rights for WMA's, protecting water quality inflows to the GSL and WMA's, funding field trip visits for thousands of young students each year to the Great Salt Lake to instill an appreciation of our marshes, fighting stupid legislation that destroys the GSL wetlands, etc...the list is very, very long. Well, they are having a fundraiser/gala on October 15th at The Garden Place at Heritage Park --2601 E. Sunnyside Ave. in SLC. It is from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. I hope some of us can attend and show our support for an organization that truly does good, hands-on work here in our local marshes and Great Salt Lake.
