Thinking about heading out to the GSL since everything is freezing, does anyone know if there are any spots with more cover I don't have a coffin or anything?
Thanks

I have hunted the GSL several times and literally laid in my sled with zero cover and the birds came flying right into my spread and I have limited out many times on teal out there, so I wouldn't worry about cover a whole lot unless you are after geese.

Below is a picture of a hunt from a couple years ago on the GSL. I took the picture and you can see my handsome knee. There was no cover, and we got lots of shooting in that day.

Hope this helps

We've had success using snow covers and/or tumbleweeds to hide along the shore. With the lake this low, I doubt there are many places with good cover.

Where do you access the lake from? I'm in magna and have been looking for something close to explore. Considered launching our 14 footer from the marina but read a few threads suggesting thats a bad idea..
