Got a question that I can't figure out online. Can I carry a shotgun for grouse hunting while out for archery deer? Just out of complete curiosity

Easier solution is to throw a judo or other small game point on an arrow and keep it in your quiver. In my experience, Deer don't necessarily like the sound of shotguns.

you can hunt upland game with archery tackle it just cost more if you mess up your broad heads if you use a judo point its design is to stop the arrow from traveling too far however the damage that it does is crazy same with a thumper, I commonly use an old beat up broad head and arrow to hunt upland game being selective on my shots so that my arrow will not travel too far is the best option.

If you are worried about a arrow traveling too far then just use a Flu Flu Arrow with a dull broadhead on it. You only need one or two of them and with their fletching being the way that it is you won't mistake it for one of your other arrows with a good broadhead on it.
