How wide would you say this buck is and would you take him in a LE area?

27" outside, and it would depend on what area. he is a decent buck. not something to wait many years to get though.

I'd say about 27 or 28 inches to good looken buck not real old but a good buck and whats this about not something to wait for most would drop him right in his tracks.

27 inches. Pretty nice buck, but unless it was my last day, last moment, I'd have to pass on him. #1 Deer 1 is right...most people would drop it in a second if given the chance. If you are looking for a Booner Buck, this guy would make the book, but not really high...maybe 170's in the typical book. Mostly because of the mass and the imbalance on the left side. In the non-typical book he wouldn't even make it.

Still a pretty buck and I'd hope nobody would shoot him in that pose....sheesh....talk about a texas head shot. :wink:

The area is San Juan Elk ridge. When I took the picture he was about 50 Yrds off the main road during the Bow Hunt.

26 maybe 27" and i all depends on what le unit i am on henries no way book cliffs then yes. nice deer regardless.

I would take this buck off the San Juan, not off the Henry, Pauns, Books, Oak or Vernon.

I would guess him to be around 170.

No on a limited entry area unless it was a last day kinda thing. Public ground, open area, yeah, he'd be a trophy if he made it through this long. 8)
