So with hoyt releasing all of their new bows today I was wondering what would happens to the old ones? I really want to buy a carbon spyder and I was wondering with all the new bows coming out will the price for the carbon spyder go down at all?

dont plan on prices falling, they think their bows are gold for about 2 to 3 years
No the carbon bow won't come down in price because they don't have another carbon series coming out this year. Personally I didn't think they really released anything spectacular.

Most shops I see will clear out bows for about 10% off around Nov.-Dec. Even Wilde Arrow who isn't known for discounts. You just have to look and be patient.

If you want one you may be able to talk to some shops at they expo. They usually give out some sort of deal and might have one in stock still.
That's why when Hoyt told me last week that the Spyder 34 and turbo were going away next year, I ordered one. They said the last day was last Friday to do that.

Wasn't to excited about the idea of a pre-loaded limb, so opted to not participate in the new line bows.

They did release a new carbon bow and it is 5 fps slower than the one from last year and requires a special press.

I for one am glad I found a great deal on a 2015 carbon spyder.

You're right. I guess I passed over it. Still there lineup doesn't seem very impressive at all.

I agree, maybe they will feel different on the draw or the shot? but I kinda doubt it.

This years release outside of the one target bow just leaves me scratching my head.

I mean they made new risers (The defiant risors will be expensive to machine), new limb pockets, new limbs and new cams, but cannot articulate how the bow is somehow different (better) from past years offerings from a performance standpoint other than using marketing terms like "on steriods".
