That's a true "once in a lifetime" buck for most people to even see. If he is really running wild, you are blessed to see such a deer.
Oh, and yes, he'll top 30". My guess is at least 34-35 inches...maybe more.
Many years ago me an my brothers hunted a family of deer in the East Canyon area that had genes like that. We're talking non-typicals that always were wide w/ a flyer sticking out one side. The largest one we took was over 36" and looked just like this deer. You think you're walking up on a caribou when you walk up on one like that layin dead on the ground.

Honestly I'm with caddis8. I wanna know how tall he actually is, cause that width is making him look much shorter than I think he actually is. Why don't you go find him with a tag in hand so you can put an end to the questions?
