I have been looking at the antlerless opportunities in Idaho, and am having trouble finding some info. Can anyone tell me how the antlerless control tags work? Are they the same price for antlered and antlerless?
Yep. Same price. It's kind of a nice system. Lots of controlled hunt opportunities. No points to worry about. Then if you don't draw, there are always general OTC tags for cows or bulls. Some give you multiple weapons/seasons or even change from cow to bull depending on dates. If I could afford it, I would hunt Idaho every year.
I assume you're talking about elk. There are also antlerless deer opportunities as well.
