My boy has a late cow tag for current creek area we been up a few times and no sign of elk if you guys know where a good place to go or know where the elk are any thing would help thanks.

Straight north and a little east of chicken creek east at Strawberry on that southwest facing slope. There always seem to be elk right there this time of year. We always watch them while we ice fish. Im not sure of your boundaries on the tag. Hope this helps a little.
^^^That's exactly what I was going to tell you. Glass the ridges that face Strawberry. Lots of lazy elk warming up in the sun all day long. Good luck.
to much snow has pushed the elk off of those ridges they are half way to starvation reservoir by now. on mostly private property and indian reservations
