Lesson learned

Well my 14 year daughter asked if I have her swan tag with her hunting lie "because I carry it so she don't miss place" it this morning and I told her no there no swan here yet well one of the biggest swan I have ever seen in 37 years of duck hunting came over less than 20 yards off the deck at Howards slough ."lesson learned " always have your swan tag -O,-

We found some ourselves but never could get on them.

why shoot your swan so early in the season.
I thought i heard a few at BRBR but never seen them.
Was the swan you saw calling or flying silent?

Agreed! I've eaten more swan tags than I'd care to admit because I've waited too long. Unless you're trying to mount your swan, one is about as good as the next.
