I fished the second dam of the Logan on Saturday evening for about an hour or so. I was bait fishing with salmon eggs, using a #10 egg hook and 2 pound test leader. I caught about 8 or 9 little rainbows, nothing bigger than 10" (most were about 8" long). I think that they just planted them there recently. Anyways, it was fun.
unless you fly-fish its pretty difficult but fly-fishing the river seems to be a little more productive and produces bigger fish on average for me. i broke off four fish today that were all 14"-16" (depending on species).
