Mantua is capped in less then a inch of ice. Won't be long now with all the cold temperatures in the forecast.

The lake now has nearly 6 inches. Lots of people out today and fishing was fair.

Plenty of safe (and very slippery) ice. 6-8 inches as of 1/24. Be cautious of the first 1-2 feet of ice, other than that, its good to go!

Fished 1/31/15. Edges are sketchy. Saw a few places where people had gone in waist deep. Once on the very slick ice, 4 to 6 inches of ice. With this weather, dont know how long it will last.
