Hi, everyone! I’ve been following this forum for a few months—since I learned I would be relocating from the upper Midwest to Utah (SLC). I’m very excited to learn more about what the Utah wetlands have to offer, and from the looks of it, they offer a lot! Been a pleasure seeing everyone’s posts so far. And looking forward to joining the Utah waterfowl community.

Hope to see you all in the marshes. And, of course, if there are any unique Utah tips and tricks, my ears are always open.

(picture is from an icy morning on a Wisconsin lake this season—certainly was worth breaking ice)

My best tip would be to get an airboat. If you have 25K sitting around and love to hunt ducks, an airboat is the shiz here. You can get to many areas that mud boats and foot soldiers can't venture to.

Welcome to Utah! Lots to do here, but it's getting more and more crowded.
