My hunt opened last Sat. saw 2 bulls and 2 cows, passed on one bull that would have went in the lower 40 inch range hoping for a larger one, still have lots of time. I just wish the weather would turn I'm so dang sick of this warm crap.

What tag do you have packfan? I just got back from the N. slop, I filmed 2 hunts.

The first hunt we shot a 43" moose with long and heavy brow tines and good palms. I filmed him sparring with another bull at 45 yds for about 10 minutes, then we moved in for the shot (bow), it was a great experience.

On the second hunt we decided to guide a guy (Yes, we had permits) that had waited 19 years to draw and didn't know much about the area. (?????) In any case, I filmed him taking the other moose I had filmed fighting the moose that we had taken earlier in the morning. The guy was exstatic, he just kept saying "I can't believe I just shot a moose!" We helped him cape it out and showed him how to quarter it and called it a night. We woke up and filmed a bunch pof fluff in the morning and headed home. Short trip, but a good time.
