I'm curious to know if anyone has had any luck with those Montana ms September cow elk decoys. My 85 year old grandpas muzzleloader bull tag is almost up and still no luck on the Wasatch. We've seen plenty of Bulls, we just can't get them into him. He can't walk very far, 2 miles at best so it's quiet a challenge. They are responding to our cow calls, but just not coming all the way in. We got within 100 yards of a screaming bull yesterday but he never showed himself for a shot, so I'm curious to know if these ms September decoys are worth it. Any thoughts?

That's my only hesitation. Area we've been hunting has had zero hunters though, not to say that there won't be Any. I'm getting desperate haha

Not sure how you are calling but you might want to call from behind the shooter a hundred yards from where you want him to come in. They generally hang up because they don't see any cows where the sound is coming from. Decoys can be effective but again you want to setup behind the shooter.
