My Father in Law is back in Town

The last time he was here in June we fished Deer Creek and Mantua. He really likes Mantua. How has the fishing been lately. Is it possible to troll for trout or is it still too weedy?

How about Deer Creek. We usually fish from a boat up by the island. I have an aluminum boat since I hear it is too low to launch a bigger boat easily.

Any current info would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what to tell you other than you won't be very close to the island right now due to low water levels, Have you thought about jordanelle?.
