Got a new Savage B22 left hand. Shot it this morning. Curious to see how it does at 50 and 100 yds.

Lefty! Awesome. I have a heavy barrel lefty savage 17HMR, its incredibly accurate. Sadly I bought it the year before they put the accu-trigger in them. Trigger is ok... I've kicked around getting an upgrade trigger sear.

Mines a nice wood stocked 93R17, I got it right after it came out. Fun rifle!

This post has me inspired to get my .22 and .17HMR out for some range time. It’s been years since they have been out of the safe.

Bolt action 22s are so much fun. Might need to get my hands on a B22 someday...
You got to love those .22lr's I have 3 auto Rugers and 1 bolt remington in the safe that have not come out to play in 2 years if all is well that's going to change this year, thanks for the post Irish Lad (y)

You got that right. Especially with ammo prices. After the big run on ammo after Sandy Hook, when that ended there were some good deals on 22lr so I bought several cases of copper jacket hollow points, Winchester and Federal. I wondered if I was making a mistake but now in hindsight, I wish I bought a pallet (I know a guy who bought 2 pallets of 22lr... lmao).

My son is also left handed and this is the same gun I picked up last year for my son. It's a pretty good shooter. It definitely shoots better than he can still.

My 93R17 is a lefty heavy barrel varmint'er. Its way more accurate than you would guess it to be.

For leftys and semi-auto's, look into the Browning SA-22. It ejects out the bottom so its great for right or lefties. There is a wide range of prices according to grade though, the price of a Grade V Belgium might give you pause, LOL!

You can also find the Chinese copies called a Norinco ATD. They are caught up in the Chinese gun import ban, but there were alot imported before the ban (and alot slip across the border from Canada where they were really cheap).

I've bought them for as cheap as $80. I have the SA-22, both my wife and son have ATDs. The overall design is great, and the ability to remove the barrel from the action is great for packing it. Good reliable guns if you clean them semi-often.

Ruger also makes a left handed version of the 10/22 from the custom shop. The downside is that it takes a left handed magazine as well.
