Back when I used to be on foot I would go out to the Bear River Bird Refuge. It has a ton of little pot holes and dikes and all sorts of stuff to hunt. Just take note of the regulations out there, and you'll do good.

I don't know for sure about Salt Creek but there are walkin areas on Public where you won't have to fight boats for birds. If you get a real wild hair, you can even walk into some boating areas.... but that'd take some gumption and a strong back (If you can do it, more power to ya). I'm sure Bear River is doable and Casey will probably hook you up on that info. I don't know anything about Salt Creek other than it looks pretty good from above.....

salt creek has realy good spots you can walk out in. there some good spots to set up decoys in little pot holes and you can do good on them. it a big place. best thing to do is go look around up there befor the hunt so you have some kind of idea of the place. There will be boats there to. but there a couple place they cant get to because of a dike.
