no swan tag

Just wondering if I should be concerned about not receiving my swan tag yet. I though for sure it would be here by now.
I dont have to go the a DWR office do I?
Also I though you could only carry a certain amount of shells in when swan hunting but I cant find that anywhere in the field guide. Did that change or am I just not seeing it?

Shell restrictions are only on certain dikes on the refuge. I wouldn't worry about the tag and give it a bit you won't see swans until November
Thanks. Just antsy I guess. By the way got the permit today. I haven't read through the paper work that came with it yet though. I did read the shell restriction on certain dikes in the field guide, but i just had it in my mind it was just a general rule when hunting swans.

As far as I could see it is only on two dikes only in the Bear River Bird Refuge. Is that correct?
Just out of curiosity why is the restriction in place?
Simple answer is Skybusting. Trying to keep hunters more selective with their shots.

Got mine today too. Bought my stamp and registered my HIP number too. Its going to be fun! Good luck on your hunt!
