A lot of the information is online but you are going to have to know how to access the counties clerks records for where you are interested in. At times it can get quite difficult to do it with trying to figure out just how to input the information that you have to get what you want.

Just go to the county clerks web site for the area that you are looking at and see if you can figure out how to input the information.

If you are a property owner you can practice using your own information, or if not a property owner try your parents information or someone that you know that owns a home.

Most county recorders have a map you can click on and zoom in to what ever property you are interested in. There is no charge if you are on the county's website. If you can use google earth you can navigate a county recorders map.
