Been hunting for years but am trying to find a new location to start. We have a few hunters putting in for the LE and will be starting this spring as soon as the snow melts. Really just looking for any tips or starting points on this unit. PM's are welcome thanks in advance.

It's a realitivly small unit.
You should be able to learn it before you draw the tag if you spend a day a year down then.

On top of that the elk are in very specific areas on this unit. Like Mtnrunner stated, pretty easy to learn. Do some exploring for a day or two and you should find em.

There are 9 muzzleloader tags, 19 early rifle tags, 12 late rifle tags, 14 archery tags, and 2 multiseason tags issued for the LE Fillmore, Pahvant hunt. I would assume the hunting pressure isn't crazy for elk, but that's not counting all of the cow/spike hunters!
