Pineview?

Again - Me and Sparkinator are looking for a few suggestions as to where to try for those smallies from a tube since all my areas are high and dry. I've caught a few but they are tough to locate from a tube and no fish finder. I've been trying a few sots in deeper water in the no wake zone by the **** but that's a large area and have had some success but pretty slow. Had thought I'd found an area over by the E. island but that went dead. :( Send a pm if you think it's best.

Leaky, have you tried over by the nature trail parking lot area? [North West corner]
Nope, looks pretty shallow. :( Do you have any recent experience in that area?

I don't Leaky, just read a report that suggested that area.
Id love to join you some day on a float tube trip so you can show me the ways of pineview. I havent had that much luck up there or on the ogden river. Go figure.
I may be wrong, but my productive Pine fishing, may be at an end for this year unless someone has a secret spot they're willing to give up that is accessible by tube.. :(

I have never fished Pineview, how far is it from Salt Lake...and hour? I don't have a boat, but I do have a float tube! I will have to give it a try one of these days
Pineview Reservoir is located about 15 minutes East Of Ogden.
Ogden is about 35 miles North of SLC.
If you do a map search, you will see a road that cuts between Weber Canyon and Ogden Canyon. That's a good way to get to Pineview.

Thanks, that doesn't seem as far as I had thought!
