Traditionally, they open the gates two days before youth hunt day, so September 17 would be my best guess.

When is it open to go scout around? Every year about this time I get all excited and restless and just need to go do something waterfowl related haha. Any info would be appreciated thanks.

I was told that the wma open 1 week prior to the youth opener but don't quote me mom that.
Some times they open it up the weekend before the youth hunt. if not then the week of.
