Words can't describe this past Feb trip to the land of Perchzillas...Lake Cascade. Totally funtastic time with dear friends and new friends made.

Our trip was a couple weeks ago and since a new state record Perchzilla was caught just this past Friday...2.96#'r and being a betting woman, I'm betting a 3#'r is in this fishery...ice conditions are still good...with ice ridges forming...sleds and ATVs doing okay but shores are getting softer...yep we are spoiled and if one wants some big Perch this is the fishery to check out...

Roughly 800 plus round trip from Roy...but well worth it by us...only wish Utah would take a chapter from Idaho if they want to establish a decent Perch fishery...water elevation is monitored and predation is controlled...you won't catch Perch this size in Utah consistently.

Our two trips this year were awesome with many personal bests...New friends made and memories shared can't wait for the trips come 2017.

Here's a video capturing this awesome 4 solid days of ice fishing in Feb. Video is a titch under 14 minutes long capturing video footage of folks catching, still pics, underwater shots and more...ENJOY hope the link works.
