refurbish engraving

As I have posted before I came across a 16 gauge savage 755 semi auto, after some serious cleaning and a bit of help from the Cabela boys she has turned into a sweet shooter. It has engraving on the plate above the trigger that is worn, can that be fixed? I know google it. Just want someone here that has any knowledge to tell me. Thanks Dunkem

EDIT: The gun is 60 years old.
