Just a thought- Kmart going under has some sales in the fishing dept.
some Shimano 6ft spinning rods - hook setters- decent for Bass fishing ( also a great Lake Powell striper spoon jigging rod) and a Shakespeare 7ft ultra light with a Shakespeare reel and line- fun rod and pretty specific to pan fishing but both rods are pretty cheap right now- Probably $24 out the door.
