Indeed, very reminisent of perchy300...

Anyhow, as I was looking over your report I noticed that you put bb's in your clear bubble. Was the water very clear there and wouldnt this negate the "stealth" of the bubble? As I think about it, did you also under fill it to act like a rattle trap noise attracter?

well as i stated i was fishing from shore and the water had a bunch of green floating moss or alge. but passed that it could be clear water i just dont know sorry.

you know it never dawned on me that it could possibly negate the "stealth" of the bubble. i just use it to cast farther out. as to how it was filled question. it was filled to the max. i'll have to try that rattle trap attracter the next time out. hope i answered all your ?'s

i was Perchy300 on DWR Forums i'm NOW Takemefishin on UWN.
sorry i didnt clarify.

Yes, fine job on answering the questions. I just tend to overthink things or analyze sometimes. I had never heard of the bubble use till I got out here to Utah and didnt start using it till recently. I figured the main reason for using the bubble was to keep it clear and unobtrusive(natural bouancy along with casting distance too), thus using only water as weight to minimize spooking the wary trout. I never though about filling it with anything else than water, and once you said you used bb's, I was thinking along the lines of having the bb's bouncing around in there rattlin' as an attractor. Now that I think about it also, you could put all kinds of stuff in there, special regulations and proclamation permitting. Most bubbles have a bit of leak to them so you could add attractant amoung others to create a small "chum" line to work along with your lure.
This is what I love about the forums, they really get me thinking and experimenting with different ideas to try when Im out getting skunked with "proven" methods.
