Beautiful day up at Scofield today, felt about like June. Lots of waterfowl are using the South end of the lake, as well as herons. Certainly one of those days when you're glad you can be on the water.

Fishing was slower than I expected it for this time of year, but the trout were big and hard fighting.

Picked up all my fish in shallow water on black, purple, and pea**** colored leech patterns.

Now that's a good one! Glad to hear that you had success. Great colors on that cutty. Nice bright cheek. I only ran into a couple of big ones, last week. I guess floating couldn't hurt, eh?

I'm headed there tomorrow with a crew (wife, kid, sis-in-law) and I'm expected to please everyone. Hopefully, I don't have to hold hands too much.

Thanks for the trip report.

On a different note, where's your team mate, these days?
