Well I know it’s been said before but I’m going to say it again. I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE WATERFOWL OPENER!!! I just need to sell my Nova so I can get my new shot gun before the season opens, but that’s for another post. Well good luck to everyone with putting on the finishing touches before the opener…..IE sharpening up on the calls, your pooches commands, decoys, gear and their condition……Bye for now.

Welcome Erda..... glad you're excited. It should be a good year... the cooler weather every morning sure hits that "should be hunting" switch. I think Dustin can tell you how many days exactly are left..... I think we should get him one of those Christmas countdown calendars where you get a little treat every day only apply it to waterfowl.... would make a funny gag gift. :lol:

My son and I went out and did a scout of an area that we were told about. I was doing pretty good until we did that recon trip, now all I can think about and work toward is opening day of duck season...it is really horrible.

In fact it is so bad, I am recruiting people that have never hunted ducks before. I enjoy it so much, why not let them in on it.
