So did anyone drop any elk so far? Did you get a shot at anything?

The group I took hunting shot two bulls opening morning, We dumped a 6 point and as we were getting ready to quarter it a good five point headed towards us, he got dumped too. Good opening morning shoot, Noway I would EVER call it hunting!

Our group went 3 for 4 on the spike hunt.....only my brother from California who could only hunt opening day left for home without filling his tag. I'm about ready to quit and take up duck hunting though, I'm still trying to recover from hauling out elk. :|

Thanks again for the call...... I would say I hunted alone but I had hunter to the side of me, in front of me, behind me, some even almost sat on me! Small mountain I guess?
