Seriously though... I'd just wait until you shoot a bird late season, thats fully feathered, big, bright and just not shot to heck. One you think you might have used the "golden BB" on is a good choice. Just take a nice Pintail, diver or any other bird that usually isn't the most common duck you can get and start there... heck you may wind up trying to get all the "Utah" ducks on your wall by the time its all said and done.
I am working my way toward all of the ones that fly through here. I'll have the hardest time with a good cinny or Blue-wing.....and the LAST one I'm gonna do is the mallard. Everyone and their dog has one on their wall....
I currently have a Bufflehead, Lesser Scaup, Ruddy, GWTeal, Redhead, Common Goldeneye, Gadwall, and have a nice Pintail in the shop. Haven't gotten anything worth takin' in this year...hopefully it happens soon!
